A well respected insurer with an enviable reputation within the UK General Insurance market are looking for an experienced Pricing Development Consultant to join their growing team. They are delivering an exciting programme of change, which will focus on making their products easier to buy, easier to sell and easier to manage. They’re implementing a number of enablers to achieve this, from the design of new and innovative insurance products to delivering a new Policy Administration System. As a Pricing Expert you will be key in developing how they interact with customers in the future.
The Pricing Specialist will be joining an expanding team and developing and delivering pricing solutions for a range of personal and commercial lines products. You will work hand-in-hand with other pricing functions and key stakeholders outside of your area to ensure the solution meets programme objectives and timelines – from design, to build, implementation and customer migration.

What they need from you
You need to be a committed and enthusiastic individual with significant technical understanding of end-to-end pricing within the general insurance market.
As well as good pricing project management experience, it is important that you can demonstrate the ability to influence and work well with a variety of stakeholders, including non-technical stakeholders.
You will have been involved in continuous improvement and ideally will have been involved in large change programmes whether internally or externally – and understand how programme structures work and building key relationships. With excellent presentation skills you will have strong influencing skills and the ability to quickly build credibility and buy-in to concepts and ideas.
